Episode Overview

Kikuhiko has finally found his own style of rakugo and is enjoying a surge in popularity—so much so that even time spent with Miyokichi can't pull his mind away from the craft. Sukeroku, meanwhile, is letting his own fame go to his head. He takes on roles too big for him and picks pointless quarrels with the senior performers. One day, as he drags Kikuhiko along, ranting about the scoldings he's been getting, Miyokichi appears and cuts their conversation short.
