Following her husband's passing, Bonnie believed she would never find love again, yet she unexpectedly discovered a future with Cal Ritter. However, there’s a major obstacle: her son, Tony Morgen, despises Cal. In a shocking turn, Tony murders Cal and sets Bonnie up to take the fall for the crime. Matlock steps in to defend Bonnie and prove her innocence, but in doing so, he faces the daunting task of exposing her own son’s dark actions.
