Episode Overview

The Seventh Generation Yakumo successfully secures promotions for Kikuhiko and Sukeroku to shin’uchi rank, and their debut ceremony is a triumph. However, Sukeroku soon clashes with the Rakugo Association president, deliberately performing his rival’s signature piece as an insult. When his master confronts him, Sukeroku delivers a fiery speech about his personal vision for rakugo. Meanwhile, Kikuhiko meets with Miyokichi to end their relationship. Both men stand on the brink of life-altering change.
