Episode Overview

PC Ed Clarke is dispatched to a 999 call from a panicked driver on the M6, reporting a van swerving wildly and nearly slamming into the central reservation. Spotting the vehicle, Ed witnesses the erratic driving firsthand. A roadside breath test reveals the driver is over twice the legal alcohol limit. Later, during the night shift, PCs Kara Pilarczyk and Tom Cordall stop a delivery driver for not wearing his seatbelt. His nervous, evasive manner immediately sparks their suspicion, leading them to dig deeper.
