Anne of Green Gables tells the story of Anne Shirley, an orphan navigating her way from childhood into her teenage years. Set in early 20th-century Prince Edward Island, siblings Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert realize they need assistance on their Green Gables farm and plan to adopt a boy.
