Episode Overview

Arriving in Nepal by plane, he teams up with a British Gurkha commander who is on a recruitment mission. They travel to a secluded village for a recruitment assessment but encounter local Maoist guerrillas. Following this, Michael embarks on a trek to Annapurna base camp alongside a sherpa, grappling with the challenges of high altitudes. Afterward, they journey to Kathmandu, where he receives a blessing from the King. Their next adventure involves crossing into China, leading him to the world’s highest monastery before ascending to Everest Base Camp, aided by yaks.
