Beth has meticulously planned an ideal baby shower for Sophie, who is eagerly anticipating her little one's arrival. The guest list is extensive, and Christine has even invited Pat from next door, believing she will take on the role of godmother. However, Sophie has already chosen Beth and Eric for that honor and hasn't told her mother yet. Meanwhile, Jaz is nursing a black eye from an unfortunate incident with a moving box, and although Cathy is thrilled about the celebration, she’s hesitant to get too involved with Sophie, fearing the baby might arrive sooner than anticipated.
