A man on the brink of death exonerates an inmate, yet the Governor and the railroad remain convinced of his guilt. Though he is granted parole, he finds himself relentlessly pursued by a railroad agent. When he becomes a suspect in a second robbery, Ryker starts to doubt the reality of the situation and questions if everything is truly as it appears.
