Episode Overview

Following a week filled with unsuccessful escape attempts, the atmosphere among the hostages becomes increasingly strained. Their spirits lift when a helicopter appears overhead, sparking hope for rescue, but it only lingers long enough to release an enigmatic box. Concurrently, San Francisco journalist Renbe resumes his search for Janet, disregarding cautionary advice to abandon his inquiry into her disappearance.
