Episode Overview

The firehouse takes in a stray dog they name Boot. During a rescue mission, the firefighters save a boy trapped in a hole, only to discover he has been mistreated. Roy and John come to the aid of another boy whose head is wedged in a basement window. Meanwhile, Dr. Early performs a delicate procedure to free a child's arm from a steering wheel. Later, at a brush fire, Boot plays a crucial role in finding an injured hiker before departing with a hook and ladder truck.
