Episode Overview

While fetching a basketball for a game, Merton noticed Pleasantville once held a witch trial. Chatting about it, he mentioned he had a girlfriend and recalled the name of the burned witch. After repeating her name three times, she was freed from a tree. Chuck insisted Merton bring his girlfriend to the Factory. Panicking because he didn't have one, the witch offered to pose as his girlfriend as a reward. When she started getting on his nerves, Merton wanted to break up. But Lori warned him that the witch had brutally killed her ex-boyfriends for trying to leave her—which was why she was burned alive.
