Episode Overview
Tommy accidentally bites Merton, turning him into a werewolf just as a Werewolf Hunter arrives in town. Lori and Tommy urge Merton to use wolfsbane to reverse the change before it becomes permanent, but Merton tricks them and chooses to stay a werewolf. At first, Tommy enjoys Merton’s newfound athleticism, but soon Merton turns vicious and starts causing chaos in Pleasantville. All attempts to bring him back fail. The only cure besides a silver bullet is werewolf antibodies—which Lori carries from her near-transformation, though using them risks turning her, too. Merton lures Tommy into a trap, nearly tranquilizing him, then weakens him with silver-nitrate gas. Lori then announces she wants to become a werewolf as well, and Merton bites her.
