Jan Ryong and his crew walk free without facing any consequences. In the dead of night, Father Lee receives a mysterious phone call. The following day, his lifeless body is discovered in a nearby mountain. Hae Il pushes for an inquiry, but both the Gudam Police and the prosecutor dismiss his request. The police claim that Father Lee was engaged in multiple criminal activities, igniting Hae Il's anger.
