Fred pretends to have a headache to escape the violin recital, prompting Wilma to invite her former beau, Wilbur, who still has feelings for her. Feeling envious, Fred tracks them to a dance, accompanied by Barney and Gazoo. In an attempt to make Wilma jealous, Fred asks Gazoo to transform Barney into a dance partner for the evening.
