Betty clings to the hope that her sister's son, Chance, could bring some light into their chaotic lives. However, she quickly notices his troubling traits; he shows a lack of empathy and has a tendency towards violence. Eventually, his anger reaches a boiling point, resulting in him hurting the very person who has always supported him.
