After being put in charge of a local scout troop for the day, Mr Bean throws himself into the role with typical enthusiasm. However, his single-minded focus on earning every possible badge quickly alienates the children. More concerned with ticking off achievements than leading a fun adventure, he turns a simple outdoor outing into a chaotic series of bizarre tests. His unusual methods and stubborn badge obsession ensure the scouts are left thoroughly unimpressed, and Mr Bean ends the day with plenty of badges but no new friends.
