Mary Anne has been dropping hints for Balki to pop the question, but after several missed opportunities, she decides to take action and threatens to leave. Concerned, Larry steps in to help Balki understand the situation. However, a mix-up leads Balki to believe that Jennifer has feelings for him and that Mary Anne is in grave danger. Amid the chaos and misunderstandings, Mary Anne goes through with her plan to move out, leaving everyone in a state of confusion.
