Episode Overview

In 2009 France, Simon Weynachter, the head of the national judicial customs service, initiates a dedicated task force to combat financial crime. While conducting a routine inspection, Weynachter and his team stumble upon an apparent VAT fraud scheme tied to two Tunisian con artists, Fitous and Bouli, hailing from the working-class Belleville area. As the investigation unfolds, they discover links to an enigmatic trader, Jérôme Attias, from an affluent neighborhood, raising questions about the depth of the criminal network they are up against.
