Episode Overview

This week features two compelling stories of women seeking to reunite their families. Val Moorhouse, 62, receives cards from her daughter Marisa for every occasion, but they always bear a poignant reminder: Marisa also signs on behalf of her brother Stephen, who has been absent from their lives for four decades. Meanwhile, 37-year-old Sam Cashmore seems to lead an enviable life with a successful career, a joyful daughter, and a lovely home. Yet, her happiness is clouded by the longing for her birth mother and sister, whom she desperately wishes to find and reconnect with.
