Dr. Pol and Charles respond to an urgent situation at Gross Dairy Farm, where they must assist a spirited cow suffering from a twisted stomach and an unpleasant odor. Meanwhile, at the clinic, Dr. Pol examines a goat named Ginger and fears she may have polio. Dr. Brenda faces her own emergency when she receives a call about a new heifer at Delbert Garrett's farm, who is dealing with a prolapsed uterus and continues to strain after giving birth.
