Episode Overview

Mallory is overcome with guilt after she reports a young girl for shoplifting, particularly upon discovering that the girl comes from a home for abused children. Troubled by her decision, Mallory decides to visit Jessie at the home, although she remains wary of the girl’s motives. Nick cautions Mallory that she can't expect to transform Jessie instantly, but Mallory believes she can still make a positive impact in her life.
