Episode Overview

Siegfried is feeling hesitant around horses after his recent encounter with Dolly. Meanwhile, James is stuck handling the obnoxious Ralph Beamish, a horse owner who stubbornly dismisses his recommendations. Siegfried pays a visit to a nearby pig farmer, concerned that his livestock might be at risk for foot and mouth disease. Mrs. Beck persistently voices her frustrations over her vet bill, now also fretting about her cat’s chances of surviving a gas attack if war breaks out. With Germany invading Poland, the British government has issued an ultimatum, threatening war if Germany does not withdraw.
