Ozpin's essence intertwines with a young farmhand named Oscar Pine, as he seeks a way to reach out to him. Meanwhile, in Patch, Yang opens up to Taiyang about her struggle to face her fears, sharing her feelings with Port and Oobleck, who are visiting. Determined to overcome her challenges, Yang attaches her prosthetic arm and starts training with her father. At a local tavern, Qrow encounters his twin sister, Raven, who has become the leader of the bandit clan that raised them. Their reunion quickly turns tense as they criticize one another for abandoning their family, leading to Raven's departure.
