Episode Overview

While on set for a film, Tony Blake witnesses a tragic accident as his magician friend attempts the dangerous "Spikes of Death" escape and loses his life. Since Tony is the only other magician skilled enough to perform the illusion, he steps in to help the film's owner and uncover the truth behind the accident. As he investigates, Tony discovers that a stagehand has sabotaged the escape equipment, aiming to bring down the movie studio and force the sale of the lot. But the real question remains: who orchestrated this scheme?
