Episode Overview

Pati travels to the enchanting town of Maní to delve into the sacred relationship between the Mayans and their bees, particularly the endangered Melipona, a stingless bee indigenous to Yucatán. She is welcomed by a cooperative of women dedicated to preserving these bees, who invite her to partake in a Mayan energy cleansing ceremony featuring buñuelos made from Melipona honey.
