When Alfred, Petterson’s brother, comes to stay, the usual calm of the courtyard quickly vanishes. The animals and neighbors grow restless, counting the days until his departure. But Alfred has no intention of leaving soon—he announces plans to build a holiday home nearby, much to everyone’s dismay.
