Episode Overview
As the trial for a rape and murder case unfolds, DCI Gill Murray is resolute in her quest to secure a conviction against the defendant, Georgios Stelikos. Complicating matters, only one of the alleged victims is willing to take the stand. When Rachel testifies, she is taken aback to find that her former partner, Nick, is representing the defense. His cross-examination rattles her as he brings up personal details from their past relationship. Just as the verdict is announced, unexpected developments bring a startling twist to the proceedings.
