Seventeen-year-old Danny Hayes finds himself in court, facing charges for murdering his father. Convinced that his dad was about to harm his mother, as he had threatened, Danny acted in what he thought was self-defense. However, the claims made by his father's closest friend cast doubt on Danny's story and jeopardize his hopes for acquittal.
