Episode Overview

After an exciting encounter at a book signing, Dee Dee arranges a date with her beloved author. However, her enthusiasm wanes when she discovers that Carter has sole custody of his two small daughters. In a parallel storyline, Phyllis becomes increasingly irritable and decides to escape to Mona's place following a clash with Ray over his choice to pick up an additional shift at the radio station.
