In Miami, Detective Rolly Garcia delves into the brutal murder of a 17-year-old boy who was beaten and left lifeless in the back of his own car. To identify the killer, Garcia sets out to locate the victim's hidden girlfriend, the likely last person to have seen him alive. Meanwhile, in Dallas, a young man is discovered shot dead in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
