Episode Overview

Victoria, nearing the end of her pregnancy, feels exasperated by Albert and her mother’s attempts to keep her in the Palace. Meanwhile, Cumberland arrives in London with hopes that Victoria might not survive childbirth, as he remains the heir Presumptive. Defiantly wanting to be seen in public, Victoria takes a drive but encounters a disturbed admirer who wants to rescue her from her "German tyrant." Although taken aback by the encounter, Victoria refuses to let it intimidate her and, despite Albert's concerns, decides to venture out once more.
