Episode Overview
Martin D'Agostino, a homeowner in Swampscott, Massachusetts, welcomes Tom for assistance with fixing and replacing his deteriorating deck balusters. Following this, Tom, Richard, Roger, and Kevin gather in the Ask This Old House loft to play a guessing game called "What Is It?" Later, Richard travels to Salem, Massachusetts, where he helps homeowner Joe Cole connect the ice maker and water dispenser of his refrigerator.
