Episode Overview

Ty and his team are set to transform the unsafe living conditions of Veronica Ginyard and her eight children in Capitol Heights, Maryland into a cozy home. Veronica has faced numerous challenges while raising her family in the only house she could afford, which is already tight for a family of four, let alone nine. Fiercely dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment, she strives to keep her children away from the dangers of the streets. However, their home is far from secure, with exposed live wires, mold from flooding, and holes throughout the structure. The children are forced to sleep in makeshift rooms in the basement and attic, while Veronica juggles two jobs and relies on public transport, as her old car remains unused in the driveway.
