Reynie Muldoon, a kind-hearted and exceptionally talented orphan, takes part in a challenging competition for a scholarship to the esteemed Boatwright Academy. During a rigorous series of evaluations, he teams up with two other extraordinary orphans, Sticky Washington and Kate Wetherall, as they collaborate to overcome various obstacles. Along the way, they meet another gifted orphan, Constance Contraire, and eventually encounter the mysterious Mr. Benedict, who plays a pivotal role in their journey.
