Episode Overview

With no one eager to participate in the talent show, Mr. Tater decides to motivate students by offering a "get out of detention free" card. However, since Derby is the only one facing detention, Tater starts creating new rules to hand out more detentions. Spotting Ivy texting in the hallway, he introduces a ban on it. To dodge detention and avoid signing up, Ivy experiments with various long-distance communication methods, but Tater quickly prohibits them all. Meanwhile, Adam persuades Echo to perform in the talent show, but when he discovers her singing is awful, he tries to stop her from going on stage. Meanwhile, Derby is on the hunt for a talent to showcase.
