Episode Overview
Heyes and the Kid are promised $500 to broker a meeting between "Big Mac" MacCreedy and his rival, Armendariz, to resolve their long-standing conflict. However, they quickly find themselves captured by Armendariz's men and evicted from his property. Determined to turn the situation around, Heyes devises a plan involving Armendariz's sister, claiming she's stunningly beautiful. Big Mac is intrigued and offers them $5,000 if they can facilitate a resolution. They return to Armendariz's ranch to pitch the idea to her, but she remains skeptical and they are once again forced off the land. Encouraging the Kid to stay optimistic, they attempt to sneak back for another talk with the sister, only to be caught and threatened with being shipped to the border. In a last-ditch effort, they convince her that Big Mac is Catholic and longs to meet her. The Kid worries about how to get Big Mac to play the part,
