Episode Overview

Two church members plead with Eric to assist in taking their ailing dog to the vet for euthanasia. Meanwhile, Matt stumbles upon Mary sharing a passionate kiss with Michael Towner in an unexpected location. Confronted, Mary and Matt explode in a heated argument, with Mary accusing Matt of constantly meddling in her affairs. After a reflective night and discussions with Sgt. Michael and each other, Matt and Mary manage to reconcile. Simon and Lucy enjoy a double date with Deena, who is celebrating her birthday, and her visiting older brother, leading to an enjoyable evening for all.
