During the practice match with Nekoma, Sawamura attempts to persuade Azumane Asahi to rejoin the volleyball team. Asahi declines, feeling that he has embarrassed himself in front of Sugawara and Nishinoya. Meanwhile, Takeda informs Keishin, who has strong ties to Nekoma, about the details of the imminent practice match.
