Episode Overview

Bilko is eager to have the Colonel out of the camp to run his schemes freely. To achieve this, he convinces the Colonel to participate in a golf tournament in Palm Springs, but the Colonel doubts his golfing skills. To boost his confidence, Bilko enlists the help of Sam Snead, who pretends to be a golf beginner and takes lessons from Bilko while the Colonel observes. This clever ruse is designed to persuade the Colonel that he can excel at golf after all.
