Episode Overview

Lizzie auditions for the cheerleading team but struggles during the tryouts. That evening, she and Miranda have a conversation online where Lizzie jokes about Kate's success, suggesting she uses padding. Unfortunately, Miranda mistakenly sends the message to the entire class. The next day, Kate is outraged by the gossip and confronts Lizzie and Miranda, demanding to know who leaked the information. After Lizzie hesitates, Miranda admits to it, triggering a fierce rivalry filled with pranks between Kate and Miranda. Feeling guilty, Lizzie eventually gathers the courage to take responsibility for the message and confronts Kate. Meanwhile, Matt brings home a lizard for a school project and names it Lizzie, much to Lizzie's irritation, and the lizard tragically dies while their parents are supposed to be supervising it.
