Ben receives a call from his mother, revealing that his father has been missing for several days and asking him to file a missing persons report. Reluctant to share his feelings, Ben shuts down Felicity, who learns about the situation from Julie. Frustrated, Ben refuses to assist in the search, as this isn't the first time his father has vanished, and he's exhausted from the continual chaos. Undeterred, Julie secretly reports him missing, discovering that Mr. Covington is in the hospital due to alcohol poisoning. Concerned for Ben's emotional state, Julie confronts him, leading to an explosive moment where she confesses she had the chance to help her own father but chose not to. After visiting his father in the hospital and seeing him on the mend, Ben returns to Felicity's apartment only to find that Julie has moved out, leaving behind a videotape.
