Episode Overview

Following their successful heist of treasure from the Franks, Askeladd's crew heads back to Gorm, a village nestled on the Jutland Peninsula in Denmark, to weather the winter months. Thorfinn, eager to prove himself, demands a duel with Askeladd as a prize for delivering the head of the Frankish clan's captain. Despite Thorfinn's enhanced combat skills from previous battles, he finds himself outmatched by Askeladd's prowess.
