Episode Overview
Sam cares for a pregnant teenager who has experienced abuse. Meanwhile, Dr. Carter introduces his African girlfriend, Makemba, to the joys of winter. The ER is thrown into disarray when a risk-assessment expert arrives, highlighting the challenges faced by the staff. Additionally, Dr. Pratt and Abby find themselves in a tense situation as they work to restrain a patient diagnosed with tuberculosis.
