As Easy Company parachutes into Normandy, the troops find themselves widely dispersed from their intended drop zone. Tragically, 1st Lt. Meehan loses his life when his aircraft is hit, leaving 1st Lt. Winters to step up and assume command. During this chaos, 1st Lt. Speirs is brought into the fold, setting the stage for the challenges ahead.
