S3E3 The Hat Makes the Man
Episode Overview
Walter and Jaleesa are excited to mark the anniversary of their first date, but tensions arise over dorm rules. Walter allows a timid student to have his girlfriend stay overnight before she leaves for the Navy. Jaleesa disagrees and suggests Quincy should face consequences, but Walter asserts his authority. Their disagreement escalates during their anniversary dinner, leading Jaleesa to leave in frustration. The other girls confront Walter about his apparent double standards, refusing to leave Quincy's room until he either punishes him or permits overnight male guests. Whitley just wants her powerful hair dryer back, which has caused several power outages. Walter calls Quincy to face the dorm council and implements new rules to combat sexism. Meanwhile, Dwayne and Freddie take procrastination to an extreme while working on their research paper.
