Episode Overview

Two professional killers disguised as highway patrol officers, tied to organized crime, botch an attempt on Lisa Ritchie’s life at a fancy restaurant near Farrow Beach on the Pacific Coast Highway. While following a suspect linked to the shooting, Chaney and Wonderlove uncover a conspiracy between Carl Suhonen, a suspected mob hitman, and Jake Cusak, president of the International Carrier’s Union. The target is a secret Lisa holds—her late grandfather Joseph Ritchie, the crime boss, revealed where he hid records of all his dealings before dying. Until her pursuers back off, she’s guarded by federal agents at his lavish hillside mansion, who’ve requested the Blue Thunder Unit’s help.
