Episode Overview

In Episode 3, Jenny is assigned to a busy hospital in London, where her enthusiasm wanes as she realizes she will be working under the formidable surgeon, Mr. Tracey. Meanwhile, in Poplar, the midwives welcome a new member, Jane, while also meeting the lively Carter twins, Meg and Mave. Although they are identical in appearance, their lives begin to diverge when one of them discovers she is pregnant, prompting both sisters to confront the significant changes a baby will bring to their lives.
