Wu Zhen inquires with Wu Zi Shu about whether he was aware of Mei Zhu Yu's connection to Changxi Palace from the past. Wu Zi Shu admits that he is. Meanwhile, Mei Zhu Yu arrives back at the Mei Residence, only to find that everything has transformed. He feels lost and uncertain about his next steps.
