After managing to evade his Group K protectors, Yuichi successfully brings food to Tenji. Meanwhile, Maria, having been pushed off the cliff by Yuichi, begins to bond with her rescuers, Hyakutaro and Chisato. However, this growing connection is part of Yuichi's scheme to undermine the friendships within Group K.
