As Maggie approaches her 30th birthday, she grapples with her past relationships and the memories of her deceased boyfriends. To find closure, she participates in an Indian ritual designed to help her move on. Meanwhile, Marilyn feels it's the right moment to master driving, enlisting Ruth-Anne and Chris to be her instructors. On another front, Maurice stirs up trouble in town as he immerses himself in writing his memoirs, much to the annoyance of the local residents.
